practice makes better

let your yoga practice be the beginning, not the end.

take the time to get out of your thoughts and into your body.  by bringing awareness to your physical self, you'll be able to find mental clarity and stabilty.

practice so you can live better in real life.

there you have it, short and simple.

i love the simplicity of this, especially the title. i found yoga because of the physical practice, but the mental peace and discovery was unexpected. i didn't think i was one of those people that could calm my mind that way - turns out, anyone can. i love that getting on my mat can make me a better person in so many different ways, just by stepping away from life and onto my mat for a few hours a week.
