"meditation means putting the mind aside so that it no longer interferes with reality and you can see things as they are."

part of the strala intensive is a bit of independent reading, several books to be digested on your own time.  i found this quote while reading "love, freedom, and aloneness:  the koan of relationships" by osho.  the quote really spoke to me, as i am a firm believer that for humanity perception is more often than not what is seen as reality, so i found this idea of quieting the mind to see true reality super helpful.  meditation is a tangible solution for getting out of my head and being more watchful of what is actually happening.
